MotoGP has decided not to ban the controversial ‘leg wings’ for the 2026 season after reviewing safety concerns.
The aerodynamic parts used by Aprilia and Honda will remain legal for now because no clear safety risks were found.
The governing body plans to revisit the issue again in 2027, when new technical rules and a major bike overhaul are introduced.
This means the potential ban has been postponed and will be discussed further alongside the upcoming regulation changes.
