Max Verstappen has admitted he may need to make important life decisions as his frustration with Formula 1 continues to grow.
He said he is no longer just frustrated but feels “beyond” that, showing how serious his dissatisfaction has become.
A major issue for him is the 2026 regulations, especially the heavy focus on energy management, which changes how drivers race.
Instead of pushing flat-out, drivers now have to slow down in some parts to save energy, something Verstappen strongly dislikes.
He even compared modern F1 racing to a game, saying it no longer feels like true racing.
Because of this, Verstappen suggested he will only continue in F1 if he still enjoys it, otherwise he may consider stepping away in the future.
Despite being under contract, his comments show he is seriously rethinking his long-term future in the sport.
