Pablo Violet Targets Italy Win

Quad class champion Pablo Violet (Drag’on Yamaha) will continue defending his FIM Sand Races World Cup title this weekend (October 24–26) at the Bibione Sand Storm in Italy, about 100 km northeast of Venice.

Violet started his 2025 season by finishing second in France’s Enduropale du Touquet and then took first place in Argentina’s Enduro del Invierno, giving him a 19-point lead before the halfway mark of the series.

The 23-year-old French rider, who will soon graduate from business school in Paris, said he’s happy with the season but knows the lead can vanish quickly, so he’s staying focused.

Despite his studies, Violet has stayed active by racing in the Dutch championship and representing France in the QuadCross of Nations. His team, Drag’on Distribution, has been restructured around him with close family and trusted members.

After finishing third at last year’s Bibione race, Violet aims to win this year. He praised the Bibione track and said it’s similar to Portugal’s Monte Gordo Sand Experience.

The championship will continue in Hossegor-Capbreton and Monte Gordo before ending again in France.
Violet added, “Our goal is to win again this year. The competition is tough, but our quad and team are stronger than ever.”

The Bibione Sand Storm begins on Saturday, October 25, with Moto and Quad races continuing through Sunday, October 26.
