Ducati Tests New Bike Upgrades

Ducati debuted a new swingarm and updated fairing during the official MotoGP test at Jerez, aiming to improve stability and cornering speed.

Factory riders Pecco Bagnaia and Enea Bastianini focused on testing these components to address specific handling issues seen in recent races.

The new aero fairing features reshaped side sections designed to manage airflow better when the bike is leaned over at high speeds.

Bagnaia noted that the updated swingarm provides better traction and feel, though the team is still evaluating its performance over full race distances.

In addition to the physical parts, Ducati engineers worked on refining engine braking software to help the bike stop more effectively on entry.

Despite the new parts, the team prioritized gathering data over setting record lap times, finishing the session with a high volume of completed laps.

These technical developments are expected to be integrated into the race weekend setup as the championship heads toward the next European rounds.
