Verstappen Slams F1 Rules

Max Verstappen says Red Bull is struggling in the 2026 season, with the car lacking pace and making racing difficult. He is currently far down the standings and not happy with the team’s performance.

He explained that the new F1 regulations, especially the engine and energy system, have made racing less enjoyable and harder to overtake other cars.

During the Japanese Grand Prix, Verstappen couldn’t pass rivals and blamed the new rules for limiting proper racing and competitiveness.

He also spoke about Oliver Bearman’s heavy crash, saying the big speed difference between cars caused by energy deployment makes situations dangerous.

Verstappen suggested that Formula 1 should adjust the 2026 rules to improve safety and make racing more natural again, hinting that changes are needed soon.
