Toni Bou won his 20th X-Trial World Championship title during the round held in Chalon-sur-Saône, France, making more history in motorcycle trials.
The Spanish rider secured the title after winning the event, even though he crashed in the final section while trying to entertain the crowd.
Bou had already shown strong performance earlier by being the fastest in the qualifying round and the Superpole session before the final.
During the final, Bou built an early lead over his rivals. His teammate Gabriel Marcelli tried to close the gap, while Jaime Busto and Harry Hemingway fought for the remaining podium positions.
Bou managed to keep the lead and finished the event with fewer penalty points than the other riders, confirming both the race victory and the championship title.
With this win, Bou reached another major milestone in his career, continuing his long dominance in the X-Trial championship.
The championship season will continue with the next round scheduled in Lisbon in April.
