Genesis Magma Racing’s driver Daniel Juncadella says he only needed one day of testing to get up to competitive speed in the WEC Hypercar ahead of the 2026 World Endurance Championship.
Despite having limited prototype experience, Juncadella feels his background in GT racing helped him adapt quickly to the Hypercar car. He believes the top‑class endurance car handles more like a powerful GT than a high‑downforce prototype, which made the transition smoother.
Juncadella says testing has gone very well and he’s excited about driving the Hypercar, enjoying every lap even as development continues.
