Rovanperä skips Super Formula test

Kalle Rovanperä, the two-time world rally champion, had to quit his first test in Super Formula at Suzuka after only one session because he fell ill.
He completed 32 laps in the morning, but after developing symptoms of vertigo affecting his balance and vision (an inner-ear condition), doctors banned him from driving for the rest of the week.
This is a disappointing start for his transition from rallying to single-seater racing, though organisers plan to resume his preparations ahead of the 2026 season.
