Formula 1 driver Fernando Alonso has praised MotoGP champion Marc Marquez, saying that what Marquez achieved in winning the 2025 MotoGP title is something that “no normal person could do.”
Alonso highlighted that only a very small number of athletes in sport have the mental strength, discipline and determination required to succeed at that level, especially after years without a title and significant setbacks.
His comments came after Marquez’s remarkable comeback and championship win.
