FIM Launches Women Mentorship

The Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) has officially launched the She Leads Mentorship Programme, a global initiative to support and develop the next generation of female leaders in motorcycling and the broader sports industry.

The programme pairs experienced professionals from sport and industry with aspiring female riders, officials, and professionals, offering one-on-one mentoring focused on leadership, career guidance, and personal growth.

Over fifty applications were received from six continents, and after a careful selection process, fifteen mentor–mentee pairs were chosen, representing diverse backgrounds and disciplines within the global motorcycling community.

The six-month pilot edition includes structured mentoring sessions, professional development activities, and knowledge sharing, all facilitated via the Mentorloop platform.

This initiative highlights FIM’s commitment to diversity, inclusion, and long-term development of women in motorcycling, aiming to empower women, strengthen networks, and foster personal and professional growth.

Mentors in the programme are respected leaders volunteering their time to guide emerging talent, reflecting the collaborative spirit within the FIM community.

The programme also serves as a pilot, providing insights that will help shape future editions and long-term strategies for women in motorcycling globally.

Janika Judeika, FIM Women’s Commission Director, said the programme helps women grow, connect, and lead while building a supportive community that will shape the sport’s future.

FIM President Jorge Viegas emphasized that mentoring women ensures a stronger, more inclusive, and sustainable future for motorcycling, reflecting FIM’s vision of empowering its global community.
