The FIM and MotoGP Sports Entertainment Group (MotoGP SEG) have confirmed changes to Race Direction for the 2026 MotoGP World Championship.
Graham Webber will take over as MotoGP Race Director for 2026, with Jack Gorst appointed as Deputy Race Director. Long-time Race Director Mike Webb moves into a new role as Race Direction Coordinator and will still attend Grands Prix as part of the leadership team.
Webber and Gorst will oversee race control at all 22 Grands Prix in 2026, covering every MotoGP class and all track activities during race weekends.
The Race Direction team will include Graham Webber as Race Director and Chairman, Jack Gorst as Deputy, Bartolome Alfonso as FIM Representative, and Loris Capirossi representing MotoGP SEG.
The Event Management Committee will feature key officials such as FIM Safety Officer Bartolome Alfonso, Medical Director Giancarlo Di Filippo, Technical Director Danny Aldridge, FIM GP Technical Representative Dominique Hebrard, Chief Steward Andrés Somolinos, and other senior representatives.
The FIM MotoGP Stewards Panel will be led by Simon Crafar as Chairman, alongside Andrés Somolinos and Tamara Matko as Stewards.
The FIM Appeal Stewards Panel will rotate members from the FIM Circuit Racing Commission, including Ralph Bohnhorst, Raffaele De Fabritiis, Stuart Higgs, and Franco Uncini, with Paul Duparc and Paul King available as reserves.
The Grand Prix Commission will be chaired by Carmelo Ezpeleta (MotoGP SEG), with Paul Duparc representing FIM, Mike Webb representing IRTA as Secretary, and Biense Bierma representing MSMA.
The Permanent Bureau will consist of Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of MotoGP SEG, and Jorge Viegas, President of the FIM.
