After round seven of the 2025 FIM Sidecar World Championship, officials found that Team Steinhausen Racing’s #1 sidecar did not comply with the technical rules. As a result, the FIM Sidecar World Championship International Jury disqualified the team from the entire Oschersleben event.
Team Steinhausen Racing appealed that decision to the FIM International Court of Appeal, but the appeal was rejected. The Court upheld the original ruling from 14 November 2025, confirming the disqualification of Team Steinhausen (Payne/Rousseau) from the full event.
Following this decision, the results for round seven and the final championship standings were updated accordingly.
