Hamilton Unlocks Breakthrough Ferrari Performance

Lewis Hamilton has revealed he had to “move mountains” behind the scenes to secure his breakthrough second-place finish at the Canadian Grand Prix.

Following a difficult adaptation period after joining Ferrari, the seven-time world champion claimed his strongest result yet for the Scuderia by comprehensively outperforming his teammate in Montreal.

Hamilton explained that he had to request several major internal changes regarding his crew and setup, heavily restructuring his engineering environment to fit his specific driving style.

He highly praised Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur for being immensely supportive and working tirelessly to execute those demands and make him comfortable.

With a new race engineer now on his car and his specialized feedback finally yielding on-track success, Hamilton believes the massive restructuring has finally unlocked his true pace in the Ferrari.
