FIM Museum Opens February 18

The new FIM Racing Motorcycle Museum (RMM) in Mies, Switzerland will officially open to the public on Wednesday, 18 February 2026. It was inaugurated in December during the 2025 FIM Awards Ceremony.

Located at the former FIM headquarters site, the museum showcases the history of motorcycle racing—from early classic bikes to modern championship machines. Every motorcycle on display has a verified racing background.

Some key exhibits include the 1949 AJS Porcupine ridden by Leslie Graham to the first FIM 500cc Grand Prix title, Mike Hailwood’s 1967 Honda RC166, and Jonathan Rea’s 2016 Kawasaki ZX-10R.

The museum also features major off-road racing bikes, such as Hubert Auriol’s 1981 Dakar-winning BMW, Stefan Everts’ 2006 Yamaha motocross bike, and other famous machines from trials, rally, and flat track.

Visitors can also see 2025 world championship-winning bikes ridden by stars like Marc Marquez (MotoGP), Toprak Razgatlioglu (WSBK), and others across multiple racing categories.

The museum is built around three themes: Heroes, Technologies, and From Race to Road, focusing not only on bikes but also on how racing has improved technology, engineering, and rider safety.

It also includes a Paddock Café for fans to watch racing and a Simulator Zone where visitors can try virtual motocross and circuit racing.

The museum is at Route de Suisse 11b, Mies, near Geneva. It will be open Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00 to 18:00.
