Ferrari’s 2026 pre-season test in Barcelona has started well according to driver Charles Leclerc. He said the team’s main focus so far has been checking that all the new systems on their car are working properly, rather than trying to find performance.
Despite rainy conditions, Ferrari completed its planned running and everything seemed to work as expected, which Leclerc called a positive sign.
He also noted that it’s still early days in testing and their real performance work will come later in the session.
Leclerc hopes the new rules bring a chance for teams to improve and for Ferrari to challenge at the top again.
