Mercedes will continue to be the only official supplier of safety cars for Formula 1 after Aston Martin withdrew from the role. Aston Martin’s decision to pull out means there will be no change in the safety car lineup for 2026, with Mercedes maintaining its position in the sport’s safety operations.
