Andrea Kimi Antonelli says he lost control and made a mistake in the closing laps of the 2025 Qatar Grand Prix, which allowed Lando Norris to overtake him for fourth place.
Antonelli explained that on hard tyres, pushing on a dirty‑air track made the car unpredictable — entering Turn 9 a bit too fast, the rear lost grip, the car slid off track, and he couldn’t recover in time.
He believes that if he had held control, Norris wouldn’t have been able to pass, but the mistake ended his chances in that moment.
