F1 Teams Rush 2026 Builds

Formula 1 teams are working to finalize their 2026 cars much earlier than normal because of big rule changes and an earlier pre-season test.

Alpine’s managing director, Steve Nielsen, said he saw their 2026 chassis in the factory already — weeks ahead of the usual schedule.

Since the first test is set for 26 January, teams need to finish crash testing and build their cars quickly.
