Marquez Wins Malaysian MotoGP

Alex Marquez secured a dominant victory at the Malaysian Grand Prix, following his second-place finish in the MotoGP World Championship sprint. Marquez (#73) finished 2.6 seconds ahead of Pedro Acosta, while a late bike issue for Francesco Bagnaia allowed Joan Mir to claim P3.

Bagnaia initially led from the start, with Acosta and Marquez battling behind. Marquez overtook Bagnaia early and gradually built a lead. Acosta moved past Bagnaia later, but Marquez maintained control to take his first MotoGP win outside Spain.

In Moto2, Jake Dixon won a red-flagged race, while Diogo Moreira took the championship lead after Manuel Gonzalez crashed.

Moto3 saw Taiyo Furusato claim his maiden victory, leading a Honda 1-2-3 finish ahead of Angel Piqueras and Adrian Fernandez.

The next round of the championship will be in Portimao.
