Misano MotoGP Weekend Preview

After seven straight wins, Marc Márquez’s streak ended in Barcelona. He finished just 1.7 seconds away from victory, meaning his bid for a seventh MotoGP crown continues. His brother Álex Márquez grabbed the Barcelona win, setting up two very different storylines as they head to Misano: Marc chasing the title, Álex chasing back-to-back wins.

Francesco Bagnaia and Marco Bezzecchi continue their fight for third place in the standings, with Aprilia eager to shine on home soil. KTM riders Enea Bastianini, Pedro Acosta, and Brad Binder are also in strong form, ready to challenge Ducati.

Other podium contenders include Fabio Quartararo, Franco Morbidelli, and Fermin Aldeguer, all aiming to bounce back at Misano. Meanwhile, Johann Zarco, Luca Marini, Joan Mir, and Miguel Oliveira are targeting top-10 finishes.

In Moto2, Manuel Gonzalez leads the title race after a solid Barcelona result, while Daniel Holgado’s debut win stole headlines. In Moto3, Ángel Piqueras cut the gap to leader José Antonio Rueda after winning in Barcelona. Both classes head to Misano with tight battles to watch.

Misano promises drama: will Marc Márquez set up his championship win in Japan, or will rivals shake up the story?
