Gaining Global Recognition Through Social Service at a Young Age

Abhinav Bajra has only recently turned 24, having just crossed the age of 23. But when measured by his actions, it is hard for many to believe that he is still so young.

He can be seen serving people in one place in the morning, somewhere else in the afternoon, and at another location again in the evening.

This dedication has made him loved by people from all walks of life.

Some people on social media have even expressed their desire to see him become the future Prime Minister of Nepal. However, Abhinav has never openly identified himself with any political party or political ideology.

“My work is above caste, religion, color, and nationality.”

This is the belief he follows.

His supporters see him almost as an incarnation of compassion. They say that if he sees blood from an injury on someone’s body, he would even tear a piece from the clothes he is wearing to help them.

He is neither Amitabha Buddha, nor an angel, messiah, or divine being. Yet people have given him many names because of the work he continues to do.

Known initially for saying “Mitho Mitho” in his food-related videos, Abhinav is now increasingly being recognized as someone who is giving new hope—and, for many suffering people, a new beginning in life.
