Marc Marquez has opened up about the terrifying experience of watching his brother Alex’s violent MotoGP crash on television while recovering helplessly at home.
The multi-time world champion described a feeling of pure dread and paralysis as he witnessed the high-speed accident unfold live without knowing if his brother was seriously injured.
Marquez admitted that being a spectator for such dangerous moments is far more mentally agonizing than actually riding the bike yourself.
He explained that as an older brother and fellow racer, the natural instinct to help instantly kicks in, making the physical inability to be at the track deeply frustrating.
Fortunately, Alex escaped the dramatic impact without sustaining any major injuries, bringing immense emotional relief to Marc and the rest of the family.
