Verstappen Slams Red Bull Setup

Max Verstappen has publicly criticized Red Bull Racing for ignoring his setup advice during a difficult qualifying session at the Canadian Grand Prix.

The four-time world champion qualified a disappointing sixth, complaining about a severe lack of straight-line speed and struggles with tire temperatures.

Verstappen revealed that he deliberately allowed engineers to proceed with an experimental car setup direction simply to prove to them that it would not perform well.

The Dutch driver expressed frustration over a total lack of communication from his team garage when he requested real-time feedback regarding his straight-line deficit.

With a rain-affected race on the horizon, Verstappen emphasized that the team must quickly identify their mistakes to salvage competitive pace on Sunday.
