Brazil MotoGP Track Flooded

Heavy rain has battered the Autodromo Ayrton Senna circuit in Goiânia, Brazil, causing flooding at the newly upgraded track just days before the 2026 MotoGP Brazilian Grand Prix weekend.

Rain began Monday and fell continuously through the night, leading to large amounts of standing water on parts of the track that was recently refurbished to host a MotoGP race for the first time in over 30 years.

Officials and workers are monitoring the situation closely to ensure the circuit can be ready and safe for riders, with the event still scheduled to go ahead as planned later this week.
