Todd Kellett Wins Sand Championship

British rider Todd Kellett of Drag’on Yamaha won the Moto class at the 50th Enduropale du Touquet Pas-de-Calais, securing the 2025-2026 FIM Sand Races World Championship. This marks his fourth consecutive victory in this event, making him one of the most successful sand racers in history.

In the Moto Women category, French rider Mathilde Denis regained her title after reigning champion Amandine Verstappen from Belgium suffered a technical failure early in the race.

Kellett dominated the three-hour race, building a lead of over eleven minutes by the finish. Starting with a 14-point advantage over teammate Milko Potisek, he maintained control in challenging weather conditions.

Denis faced cold, rainy conditions but finished strong, earning her second Moto Women World Cup title. In the Moto Veteran class, Fernando Rubio (Honda) finished third behind French riders Alexis Van De Woestine (GASGAS) and Nicolas Lavenant (Yamaha).

The event highlights the growing prestige of FIM Sand Races, and top performers now gain opportunities to showcase their talent on the global stage.
