Turkiye SNX Qualifying Highlights

The qualifying day for the Yesilay SNX in Turkiye saw intense action at the Rize-Handüzü Snowcross Track, which was made challenging by heavy snowfall, creating a deep and physically demanding course for all riders.

In the SNX category, Topi Rinne (FIN, Lynx) won Heat 1 in Group 1, while Olle Sahlström (SWE, Ski-Doo) dominated Heat 2 with the fastest lap. Rinne’s consistent performance secured him 2nd overall, and Sahlström’s 3-1 finish placed him in strong contention.

In Group 2, Aki Pihlaja (FIN, Lynx) dominated, winning both heats to claim overall first place and a perfect qualifying performance, setting him up well for race day.

In the WSNX category, Wilma Jonsson (SWE, Ski-Doo) won Qualifying Heat 1 narrowly over Hilda Öhman, while Heat 2 was claimed by Emma Laamanen (FIN, Lynx). Jonsson’s second-place finish in Heat 2 confirmed her as a strong contender, though Elise Jonsson missed qualifying due to injury.

With qualifying complete, all riders are now ready for an exciting race day in the second round of the 2026 FIM Snowcross World Championship.
