Brawn Wins Autosport Gold

Ross Brawn received the Autosport Gold Medal at the 38th Autosport Awards in London on 21 January 2026.

He was presented the award at the Roundhouse venue, with former commentator James Allen involved in the presentation.

Brawn was honoured for a career spanning major successes as an engineer, strategist, and team boss, including title-winning spells with Benetton, Ferrari, and Brawn GP, plus later work in F1 management.

The article explains the Gold Medal recognises people whose leadership, service, and innovation leave a long-lasting impact on motorsport, and notes Brawn is only the fourth recipient after Jean Todt, Roger Penske, and Sir Jackie Stewart.
