After more than 40 years, the Rosin family — founders and longtime leaders of Prema Racing — have left the team, marking the end of a major chapter in motorsport history.
Prema was started in 1983 by Angelo Rosin, and over the decades the family managed the team through its rise as one of the top forces in junior racing, helping many drivers progress toward Formula 1.
Even after changes in ownership over the years, including a period under Lawrence Stroll’s involvement and more recently with DC Racing Solutions Ltd., the Rosins remained closely connected with the team until now.
The reasons for their departure haven’t been made public, but their exit ends a defining era for Prema, which has won dozens of championships and produced many top drivers in categories like F4, F3, F2, and IndyCar.
The team’s experience and structure will continue, but how Prema moves forward without the Rosin family’s leadership is now a key question in the racing world.
