Alonso’s 2025 F1 Season Review

Fernando Alonso had a challenging 2025 Formula 1 season with Aston Martin’s AMR25 car.

Despite being one of the most experienced drivers in the sport and consistently outqualifying his teammate, Alonso did not win any races and his team’s car was not competitive enough to fight at the front of the grid.

He struggled early in the season and only managed occasional points finishes, with his best result being fifth place at the Hungarian Grand Prix.

Aston Martin finished seventh in the Constructors’ Championship, below their expectations, and Alonso’s season reflected both the car’s limitations and his determination to extract the most from it.

Looking ahead, the team hopes that major regulation changes and technical upgrades for the 2026 season will help them become more competitive and give Alonso a chance to finally fight for victories again.
