Dabrowski Wins Qatar Baja

After two days and over 450 km of tough stages, Konrad Dabrowski (Duust KTM) dominated the Qatar International Baja, winning both the overall and Junior classifications in the FIM Bajas World Cup penultimate round.

Starting 10th after claiming the fastest time in the Prologue, Dabrowski overcame navigation challenges and a rear brake problem to finish the first stage 20 minutes ahead of Philip Horlemann. British rider Alex McInnes moved up to second overall, though a GPS error and missed waypoints in the second stage dropped him to seventh.

Dabrowski led from start to finish on Saturday, marking his third Qatar Baja win in four years (2022, 2023, 2025) and winning all nine stages he competed in.

In the quad category, Abdulaziz Al-Ahli took victory ahead of reigning champion Hani-Noumesi. In the Women’s category, Joanna Modrzewska finished, and Dabrowski also secured the Junior title. Veteran honors went to Al-Balooshi.

Dabrowski described the victory as a major confidence boost ahead of the Dakar Rally, showing his skill in navigation and pace management under challenging conditions.
