X-Trial Madrid Launches Inclusive Event

History will be made on 25 October as X-Trial Madrid, round two of the 2026 FIM X-Trial World Championship, hosts the first-ever immersive Trial event designed specifically for blind and visually impaired fans.

Organized by the Royal Spanish Motorcycling Federation (RFME), Madrid Motorcycling Federation (FMM), and the FIM, the initiative—called “Trial for All Senses – Inclusive, Thrilling, Real…”—was developed with ONCE, Spain’s leading organization supporting people with visual disabilities.

Participants will get a fully immersive experience, including:

  • Meeting riders, exploring their machines, and feeling differences in sound and vibration between combustion and electric motorcycles.

  • Learning competition rules, technical terms, and event operations.

  • Touring the course with guided sensory explanations from FIM officials.

  • Experiencing tailored audio descriptions and assistive devices to follow the action.

FIM officials emphasized that this milestone promotes inclusion, empathy, and accessibility, allowing visually impaired individuals to experience Trial not just with sight, but through sound, vibration, and emotion, making motorsport fully accessible for all.
