Maria Herrera Wins World Title

Maria Herrera has made history by winning the 2025 FIM Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship in Jerez, Spain. This is her first world title and a major success for the Klint Forward Factory Team.

After finishing second in the 2024 season, Herrera came back stronger in 2025. She led most of the championship and ended the season with:

  • 6 wins

  • 10 podiums

  • 3 pole positions

  • 245 points, just 5 more than rival Beatriz Neila.

Herrera said she was proud and thankful to her team for their hard work. She added that this season was tougher than last year but she’s happy to have achieved her dream and plans to continue racing next year.

Maria Herrera is known as a pioneer in women’s motorcycle racing. She was the first female racer to win a race in the FIM CEV Repsol series and has competed in Moto3™, MotoE™, and the first all-female Grand Prix team in 2023.

Born in Toledo, Spain, the 29-year-old rides for the Klint Forward Racing Team on a Yamaha R7 and now holds her first world championship title.
