Zmarzlik Equals Six World Titles

Polish rider Bartosz Zmarzlik has won his sixth FIM Speedway GP World Championship, matching the all-time record.

He secured the title at the Vojens Speedway Center in Denmark, finishing just one point ahead of his closest rival.

At only 30 years old, Zmarzlik joins speedway legends Ivan Mauger and Tony Rickardsson as a six-time world champion.

He also became the first rider in history to win four championships in a row, adding the 2025 crown to his previous titles from 2019, 2020, 2022, 2023, and 2024.

The season also saw new stars shine. Australian Brady Kurtz impressed in his first year by finishing second overall, while Britain’s Dan Bewley earned his first-ever World Championship podium with third place.
