The FIM Academy, in partnership with the International Testing Agency (ITA) and ARISF, will host a series of online webinars from late September to early October as part of the clean sport education initiative.
These one-hour interactive sessions are designed for athletes, coaches, medical staff, parents, administrators, and other Athlete Support Personnel. They will cover important anti-doping topics such as athletes’ rights and responsibilities, anti-doping rule violations, consequences of doping, the prohibited list, medications, supplements, testing procedures, and the Athlete Biological Passport. Participants will also have the chance to ask questions to anti-doping experts.
The webinars will be delivered in English with simultaneous translation in Arabic, French, Mandarin Chinese, Russian, and Spanish. Attendees can receive a certificate by either joining at least one live webinar or accessing the recordings and passing a test within six weeks.
The webinar schedule is:
-
Sept 24: Introduction to Anti-Doping
-
Oct 1: Prohibited List, Medications, TUEs, and Supplements
-
Oct 8: Testing Procedures and ABP
This initiative aims to educate and empower athletes and support personnel to promote clean sport practices worldwide.
