FIM Anti-Doping Activities in 2024: In 2024, the FIM continued to demonstrate its strong commitment to clean sport through a series of comprehensive anti-doping activities.
These efforts were designed to educate Riders on the importance of fair competition, health, and safety while ensuring that the sport remains free from the use of performance-enhancing substances.
One of the key initiatives undertaken by FIM in 2024 was face-to-face anti-doping education.
The FIM organised a series of educational sessions across various major motorcycling events, focused on raising awareness among riders, particularly younger participants, about the risks and consequences of doping.
By the end of the first half of 2024, FIM had educated 385 riders through its face-to-face anti-doping sessions, demonstrating the organisation’s proactive approach to promoting clean sport across 4 different disciplines and 17 championships/cups in total.
By engaging with riders at various stages of their careers, FIM ensures that both seasoned professionals and younger participants are equipped with the knowledge and tools to compete cleanly.
The FIM’s anti-doping initiatives in 2024 not only strengthened its commitment to maintaining a level playing field but also reflected its dedication to rider well-being.
By continuing these efforts, FIM sets a positive example within the global motorcycling community, ensuring that future generations of riders understand the importance of clean sport.
The success of these educational programs highlights the critical role of education in the fight against doping, proving that prevention and awareness are just as important as enforcement.
