Galfer Joins FIM Quality Product Program, Strengthening Its Global Reputation: Galfer, a company that has been making advanced braking systems for over 70 years, has joined the FIM Quality Product (FQP) program.
This program gives an internationally recognized approval label to high-quality products and services used in racing and other activities.
The FQP label is only given after a thorough review process.
Galfer’s top-quality brake discs and pads have been checked and approved by the FIM International Technical Commission (CTI) to become an official FQP partner.
Galfer was founded in 1952 and started by making parts for braking systems. This year, riders using Galfer products have won ten FIM World Championship titles, three European titles, and eleven National titles.
Some of these riders include famous champions like Ai Ogura (FIM Moto2™), Toni Bou (FIM X-Trial and TrialGP), and Brad Freeman (FIM E3 Enduro).
In 2024, Alessandro Lupino made history by winning the MX1 Italian Motocross Championship with Galfer products.
Guillermo Font, Galfer’s Global Marketing Director, said, “We are very proud to join the FIM Quality Product program for 2025-2027.
This shows our commitment to excellence and strengthens Galfer’s position as a leader in braking technology.
With the FIM Quality Product label, we are ready to create new success stories in racing and technology.
This label confirms that our brake discs and pads deliver great performance in all conditions.”
Fabio Muner, FIM’s Marketing and Digital Director, said, “We are happy to welcome Galfer to the FIM Quality Product program.
Their products have been proven to work well in both on-road and off-road racing.
I believe this partnership will improve Galfer’s strong reputation and give them many marketing benefits.”
