Carson Hocevar secured his first-ever NASCAR Cup Series victory at Talladega Superspeedway in his 91st career start.
The win was also a major milestone for Spire Motorsports, marking the team’s first Cup Series triumph since the 2019 season.
Hocevar celebrated the historic moment with a daring burnout, hanging out of his car window while driving down the front stretch.

The race was defined by chaos, including a massive 25-car pileup in Stage 2 that knocked out several top contenders like Ryan Blaney and Joey Logano.
Despite the wrecks, Hocevar managed to hold off Chris Buescher in a final three-lap dash to cross the finish line first.
Chris Buescher finished second, followed by Alex Bowman in third, with Chase Elliott and Zane Smith rounding out the top five.
An emotional Hocevar dedicated the trophy to his grandfather, noting it was a lifelong dream to win at the highest level of NASCAR.
