Reigning champion Jorge Martin says he finally feels “at one” with his Aprilia RS-GP25 ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix.
After a difficult first season with the team in 2025, Martin has shown significant improvement, recently securing a sprint win in the USA.
He explained that he had to adapt his riding style to fit the Aprilia, which is fundamentally different from his previous Ducati machine.

Martin noted that winter updates from the manufacturer have made the bike feel more natural and easier to handle on track.
Despite his growing confidence, the Spaniard downplayed his chances of winning the main race this weekend, stating he is not yet at 100% fitness.
He views his current progress as a major victory, especially since he was recovering from a serious hospital stay just one year ago.
While he is gelling well with Aprilia now, reports suggest that Martin has already signed a contract to join Yamaha for the 2027 season.
