Max Verstappen remains just as dedicated to his team Red Bull Racing even though he has criticized the upcoming 2026 Formula 1 regulations.
Red Bull team principal Laurent Mekies said Verstappen is still pushing the team hard to improve the car and performance in every area.
Although the Dutch driver has openly said he does not like some aspects of the new 2026 rules, the team insists his motivation and work ethic have not changed.
Mekies explained that Verstappen continues to give detailed feedback and challenge the engineers to make the car faster.
According to Red Bull, the driver’s criticism is simply part of his competitive mindset and desire to improve the team’s performance.
Despite debates about the future regulations, Verstappen is still fully focused on racing and helping Red Bull stay competitive in Formula 1.
