The 2025 FIM Sand Races World Championship concludes this weekend (13–15 February) with the fiftieth edition of the Enduropale du Touquet Pas-de-Calais in northern France. The event marks the grand finale of a growing series.
In the Quad class, France’s Pablo Violet – Drag’on Yamaha – has already secured the championship, while Belgium’s Dirk Schelfhout, Benoit Sebert, and Fabien Michel battle for the remaining podium positions.
The Quad Veteran title is also still contested among Sebert, Schelfhout, Nuno Goncalves, and defending champion Axel Dutrie.
The Moto and Moto Women classes remain wide open. Todd Kellett – Drag’on Yamaha – defends his Moto lead against teammate Milko Potisek, while Belgium’s Amandine Verstappen – Yamaha – holds a slim seven-point advantage over 2023 champion Mathilde Denis in the Moto Women category. Other French riders still have a chance to claim silver in both categories.
The Moto Vintage and Junior classes are also set for tight finishes, with Freddy Seguin, Sebastien Antony, Evan Demeester, and Matheo Gerat all vying for their respective titles.
The main Quad race begins on Saturday, 14 February, followed by the deciding Moto class race on Sunday. Fans can follow the championship live on FIM’s social media and the Sportity app using the password FIMSandRaces, and engage using #FIMSandRaces.
