Ferrari Shows 2026 Active Aero

Ferrari has given fans the first real look at its new active aerodynamics system that will be used in Formula 1 from 2026.

The technology was seen in action during a shakedown test of the SF‑26 car at Ferrari’s Fiorano track, showing parts of the aero system moving as the car ran.

This active aero system is part of the new rules for the 2026 season and lets the front and rear wings change shape to reduce drag on fast straights and improve downforce in corners.

So far the active aero has only been seen at low speed during testing, and fans will have to wait until higher‑speed runs and races to see how it performs.
