The squads for the 2025 FIM Speedway of Nations (SON) in Torun, Poland, from September 30 to October 4 have been confirmed.
This major team event returns to Poland for the first time since 2020, with 15 nations competing for the world team title at the Marian Rose Motoarena.
Poland, the hosts, are seeded directly to the Final on October 4, with a powerful squad led by five-time world champion Bartosz Zmarzlik.
The other 14 nations will race in two Semi-Finals. The top two from each Semi go straight to the Final, while 3rd and 4th battle in a Qualifier for the last Final spot.
Semi-Final 1 (Sept 30): Defending champions Great Britain face Germany, Italy, Latvia, Norway, Slovenia, and Sweden. Semi-Final 2 (Oct 1):Australia, winners in 2022, take on Argentina (debut), Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, and Ukraine.
The SON2 under-21 championship takes place on October 3, with Poland chasing an 18th youth world title.
The action-packed week ends with the FIM SON Final on October 4, where Poland awaits the challengers.
