Marquez Identifies Key Bike Weakness

Following the official MotoGP test at Jerez, Marc Marquez has pinpointed corner entry stability as his primary area for improvement.

The multi-time champion noted that while his overall pace is competitive, he is still struggling to find the perfect feel during the initial braking phase.

Marquez spent the day testing various setup configurations on his Ducati, focusing on how the bike reacts when pushed to its absolute limit.

He explained that “fighting the bike” during corner entry leads to inconsistency over long race distances and increases tire wear.

Despite this specific weakness, the Spaniard expressed satisfaction with the progress made and the data gathered by the Gresini Racing team.

The test allowed him to experiment with weight distribution and electronic settings that he couldn’t risk changing during a high-stakes race weekend.

Moving forward, Marquez remains optimistic that fine-tuning these technical details will allow him to challenge for victories more consistently.
