Huge Talladega Crash Halts Race

A massive multi-car accident at Talladega Superspeedway resulted in over 25 vehicles being caught in a pileup, forcing officials to stop the race.

The chaos began during the second stage when Darrell “Bubba” Wallace Jr., who was leading the pack, was bumped from behind and spun sideways into traffic.

The high-speed collision created a chain reaction that destroyed several top-tier cars and collected many of the field’s leading contenders.

Major championship favorites including Ryan Blaney, Joey Logano, and Kyle Larson were among those forced to retire early due to the extensive damage.

Track safety crews worked for an extended period to clear the debris and safety barriers, leading to a significant red-flag delay.

Despite the severity and scale of the wreck, all involved drivers were able to climb out of their vehicles without serious injury.

The incident drastically changed the outcome of the event, allowing several underdog teams to move toward the front for the final stage.
