During the 2026 Chinese Grand Prix, Fernando Alonso faced a terrifying problem as the Honda engine in his Aston Martin caused extreme vibrations.
The shaking was so intense that Alonso lost all feeling in his hands and feet, making it impossible to control the car safely.
These vibrations also affected the car’s batteries and overall reliability, forcing both Alonso and his teammate Lance Stroll to retire from the race.
Honda said they have made improvements to reduce vibrations but admitted the problem still makes the car difficult and uncomfortable to drive.
Despite the setback, Alonso praised the team for their efforts and promised to work closely with engineers to prevent similar issues in upcoming races.
