Alpine driver Esteban Ocon warns that overtaking could be difficult with the new 2026 Formula 1 cars.
After seeing how the cars behaved in recent testing, he believes that the way the aerodynamics work might make it harder for drivers to pass each other during races.
Ocon says the new regulations have changed how the cars create and lose downforce, and this could mean following another car closely will be more challenging than before.
He adds that teams will need to keep working on their designs to improve racing action, but for now, he expects overtaking to be tougher with the 2026 cars.
