The Cook Out Clash NASCAR event at Bowman Gray Stadium in North Carolina has been pushed back to Monday, February 2, because heavy snow and winter weather hit the area and made the track and roads unsafe.
Officials decided to delay all racing and track activity rather than run in dangerous conditions, prioritising the safety of drivers, crews and fans.
Practice and qualifying are now planned for Monday morning, with the main race scheduled for the evening.
The change also caused some parts of the weekend’s schedule to be changed or cancelled.
