2026 Speedway Semis Set

The line-up for the 2026 FIM Speedway World Cup semi-finals has been confirmed. Semi-Final 1 will take place in Landshut, Germany on May 1, while Semi-Final 2 is scheduled for Riga, Latvia on August 7.

The 2026 edition will follow a new format, with the team competition held across three countries. The tournament will conclude with the final in Warsaw, Poland, at the PGE Narodowy stadium on August 29, in front of an expected crowd of around 50,000 fans.

Host nation Poland and Australia have already secured direct places in the final. Poland qualified as hosts and defending champions, while Australia earned their spot by winning the 2025 Speedway of Nations. The remaining two final positions will be decided by the winners of the two semi-finals.

In Semi-Final 1, Germany will compete against Great Britain, the Czech Republic and debutants Ukraine. Semi-Final 2 will see Latvia face Denmark, Sweden and first-time participants Norway.

The winners of each semi-final will join Poland and Australia in the 2026 Speedway World Cup final in Warsaw.
