Cadillac has announced Zhou Guanyu as its reserve driver for the 2026 Formula 1 season.
Zhou will support the team by being ready to step in if one of the main drivers is unavailable.
This role gives him a chance to stay involved with Cadillac’s F1 programme throughout the year.
While not a race seat, the reserve position keeps Zhou active in car development and team activities.
His experience in Formula 1 will help him contribute to the team’s progress and preparation for races.
Zhou’s appointment reflects Cadillac’s commitment to building depth in its driver lineup for 2026.
