Connor Zilisch has missed the opportunity to participate in a FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) Hypercar rookie test after failing to meet the required ACCUS licence points.
To secure a spot in the test, he needed to win the NASCAR Xfinity Series title, but finishing second left him ineligible.
As a result, Zilisch will have to wait for another opportunity to gain experience in WEC Hypercars, despite showing strong performance and promise in his NASCAR campaign.
This setback delays his exposure to top-level endurance racing, which could have helped accelerate his career progression in prototype racing.
